Dural presents its new CSTB test certificate for Tilux Board at Batimat 2007
Montabaur;- Batimat is France’s most important building trade fair and takes place between 5th and 10th November 2007 at the Paris Exhibition Grounds. Among the exhibitors will be Westerwald profile and matting specialists Dural, who will again have their own stand, Stand E61 in Hall 7.2. There is a decisive method behind the company’s presence at the fair as France is one of Dural’s key export markets.
The exhibition will cover an area of 225,361 m², taking in 11 exhibitions halls, 2,700 exhibitors from 49 countries and hosting more than 400,000 visitors. The event is one of the biggest and most important building fairs in Europe. Batimat 2007 will focus on renovation this year, recognising the increasing importance of this aspect in the overall market.
This comes at the perfect time for Dural, since their new product Tilux, specifically designed for bathroom renovations, has just received official certification from the CSTB in France. This means that the innovative Tilux Board is even now in possession of a test certificate, which already sets it apart from the products of other manufacturers. Tilux comprises a sturdy board made of EPS rigid foam, to which is attached a waterproof sealing foil, which enables it to be quickly and easily installed as a level-floor shower unit with no impeding shower basin. The Tilux Board is extremely tough and is strong enough to take a wheelchair, meaning even the disabled can shower in comfort. Its excellent resistance to point loads means that it can even be tiled with miniature mosaics. Other advantages include its shallow height when installed that can be as little as 10.5 cm. A drainage flange is included as supplied, which also adds to the ease of installation. Both vertical and horizontal drainpipe attachments are available.
In Paris Dural will also be utilising the broad public reach of the fair to present a large sampling of other products including its new decorative profiles for walls and floors. The company’s central theme at the fair will be its competence as a supplier of complete systematic solutions.
