SQUARELINE 4.5 mm – The perfect profile for extrathin tiles

Tiles are getting thinner and thinner, meaning that tiling profiles need to keep up. Dural is staying up to date with the latest trends with a variety of products including the 4.5-mm version of its “Squareline” range.

The latest extra-large tiles being marketed by more and more tile manufacturers can be just 3 or 4 mm thick. This trend is particularly intended to open up opportunities in the markets for renovation and refurbishment. Profile specialists Dural have responded to this too. The new 4.5-mm version of their “Duraplus Squareline” range means they can offer modern, decorative edging for this new generation of extra-slim tiles. The “Squareline 4.5 mm” range is available in sleek aluminium with a choice of natural, silver-anodised or high-gloss anodised surface finishes.

The corner-edging profiles in Dural’s “Durosol” range are also designed to welcome the slender newcomers to the tiling universe. With heights of just 2, 3 or 4.5 mm, you can design elegant and prestigious looks for edges and junctions in tiled surfaces – with profiles in stainless steel, aluminium or brass.

Available in versions with height dimensions measuring as low as only 3 or 4 mm, Dural’s “Duraflex” expansion joint profiles are also available. This provides yet another option for laying thin ceramic tiles, offering a large selection of models and materials.

The slim versions of the “Tredsafe” stair-edging profiles also go superbly with the extra-thin tiles. The range helps ensure that climbing stairs is safe and that the steps are well protected in buildings being renovated or refurbished.
